Background:
|
Our District has been awarded a $1.5 million Federal Department of Labor (DOL) career technical education grant (with 25% in-kind match from LVJUSD and community partners) for the YouthBuild Program. These three positions will support the grabt-funded program's objectives, and were written into the grant funding application.
The proposed positions of YouthBuild Program Manager, YouthBuild Case Manager, and YouthBuild Job Developer Placement Specialist were created in response to the need to support the grant-funded program implementation.

The YouthBuild Program Manager will be placed at Category 2 on the Leadership Team Salary Schedule. The YouthBuild Case Manager and the YouthBuild Job Developer Placement Specialist will both be placed at Level 18 of the Classified Managers/Confidential Salary Schedule.

These three new positions will be paid for through the grant funding. The estimated cost of these three positions is $402,693.
