Background:
|
Extracurricular coaches are hired seasonally. All coaching positions are temporary, one season appointments. This year, all Head Coaches were hired in paid status. Assistant Coaches were assigned Volunteer status until such time as North Coast Section (NCS) / California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) allowed the season to officially commence, at which time their status reverted to their original paid status.

Status

Stipends for Extra/Co-curricular activities listed in Appendix D of the Livermore Education Association (LEA) Collective Bargaining Agreement shall be paid if the activity is offered. If only a portion of the activity is completed, the stipend shall be prorated in consultation with LEA.

Fiscal Impact

Coaching stipends are paid for by a combination of the General Fund and donations.
