Background:
|
Reclassification is a process by which employees can seek title changes when they believe they are performing required duties beyond the scope of their job classification and corresponding job description. Per Article 14 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, our District and CSEA recommends the reclassification of two employees currently in the position of Administrative Secretary - School, to the new job description of Registrar - High School. If approved, the Registrar - High School will be placed at Level 19 on the CSEA Salary Schedule.
Additionally, a revision to the work year calendar for Administrative Secretary - District is being proposed. We currently have two employees in the classification of Administrative Secretary - District, in the Student Services and Special Education departments. In order to support the needs of their respective departments, and in keeping with Efficiency Study recommendations, the work year calendar for this job classification will be revised from an eleven (11) month position to a twelve (12) month position.
